Just a quick blog post before we get on our snorkel tour boat!

Yesterday, we switched resorts. We absolutely loved our time at the Maui Beach Vacation Club, but it was time to head to the Marriott. Wow is it ever fancy! We spent some time at kaanapali beach, then went out for tacos for lunch (so good!) and finished the day by the pool. The pools here are amazing. Waterfalls, slides, and small hot tubs scattered throughout the rocks. Paradise!

Our snorkel tour was AMAZING! we saw so many whales, fish and even an eel! Loved every single minute of it. The food and drinks were awesome too!

We ended our day by the pool, and wandered around whalers village for a drink and some coconut shrimp!

Today was an awesome day! We started it off with breakfast and coffee on our patio, then headed down to Maui Wave Riders and ripped it up surfing! Definitely not professionals but so much fun haha. Headed south down the island and found a little secluded beach (Makena Landing) and snorkled and swam and built some sand castles. It got pretty cloudy, so we went back up north to Sugar beach and enjoyed the sun for a little longer then back to the condo. Now just hanging out and relaxing. Gonna cook some steaks and mushrooms for supper now! We are having so so much fun.

We were BUSY! Started off with a coffee on our deck. We have an ocean view- how lucky are we! We hit the Saturday morning market to look at some trinkets, enjoy a lavender lemonade and get some fresh fruit for the week! Afterwards, we tried a beach on that side of the island, but decided to trek back over to wailea in search of a better beach. Big beach was amazing, but about 30 minutes into being there the wind picked up like crazy! Boogie boards and Umbrellas went flying! To stay out of the wind, we spent most of the time in the ocean. Swimming and boogie boarding on the waves. we headed back to the resort for some chips and guacamole, some POG a juice with a touch of vodka, and a late afternoon by the pool…paradise! We are getting ready to go for dinner at “life’s a beach” to enjoy a Mai tai and some tacos. We couldn’t be happier and we cannot believe how lucky we are!

We made it to the Vancouver airport! We decided to make this blog to keep all of our family and friends in the loop at once. We will try to post every evening! We are very excited and cannot wait to soak up some sunshine together! 🙂 -Abigail
